this thread is for all the beginners, because I don't want that you all post your animations just like that before they reached a high level.
SO until we(the mods and me) think you're you a high beginner(or something better, depends on your animations) you can go out in the wild and dangerous world outside the beginner's section and post your animations in the pivot section Very Happy

Ah...
nice to see another new member

you posted that on SPP, too didn't you? Smile

well,
the 3D effect was cool
but yeah, as you said
choppy

try to make the kick better now, then the whole anim will be good, not only the effect Very Happy

tbh,the effect is crappy too.
If he makes the anim better it will just be a good anim.
With a crappy effect.

No problem buddy.
You anim is choppy.
Even the arm like a birdie's are supposed to be eased.
Like you said ,horrible foot placement.

It just so turns out that I have a crouch test that also need to be CnC'd

I acctually liked the effect
(because I didn't try something like this in pivot so far xD )

and your example is good
but still
even if it's a crouch test you should look after that the body moves like he would in reality
when he's lifting the sword every joint of the body should be moved (at least a bit)
because the back and the arms are very stiff

...
it doesn't look good like that

even if it's unrealistic, the anatomy should be like in realitiy (except the one who hits him as a supadupaajngafig-stick or something and I don't think that he is such a stick)

For starters.
The front leg should not move back after the punch.
beginners, post your pivot animations here Trailcombo-1
Just look at the legs.I know the anim sucks.
But I couldnt be bothered making a new one.

The arms are messed up.Your none punching arm should go to the position before the actual punch. And stay there unless you are gonna make another chain.Your arm goes back and then forward. It makes it look REALLY freaky.

Improve on that.

You dont get recoil from a punch.
Its called follow-through.
And even if that were to happen the front leg should still not move.Only bend.

it was another shooting animation that was CnCed I think...

never mind xD

well,
your animation:

the landing was crap...
and you need to move every joint at least a bit in every frame. When he kicks the ball away his leg is completely straight.
Do you play football?
well, if you kick the ball , your leg is not straight, it's always bend , at least a little bit.

I wasnt aiming at realism in the slitest.
